Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Welcome to Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your private guide greets you with a warm welcome. Transfer to Moshi, a vibrant town nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro, known for its lush coffee farms and panoramic mountain views.
Settle into your lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening with dinner, surrounded by the foothills of Africa’s tallest peak — the perfect launchpad for your upcoming adventure.
Day 2: Mkomazi Game Reserve – Wild Wonder
Drive to Mkomazi Game Reserve, passing scenic views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. Begin on a thrilling game drive through acacia woodlands and open plains, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lesser kudu. Enjoy a bush lunch and settle into your lodge for a fireside evening under the stars.
Day 3: Ndutu Safari – Calving Season Begins
Begin your day with an exclusive visit to the Black Rhino Sanctuary in Mkomazi, where conservationists share insights into anti-poaching efforts and species protection. After a picnic lunch, continue to the African Wild Dog conservation area to observe their social dynamics and feeding routines.
In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk near Zange Gate, a peaceful trail ideal for birdwatching and soaking in Mkomazi’s rugged beauty. Afterward, drive back toward Arusha and settle into your lodge near Arusha National Park, perfectly positioned for the next day’s adventure.
Day 4: Arusha National Park – Forests, Lakes & Trails
Explore Arusha National Park with game drives through “Little Serengeti,” canoeing on Momella Lakes, and guided walks through volcanic landscapes. After lunch in the wild, continue to Tarangire for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Tarangire Safari & Highland Retreat
Enjoy a full-day safari in Tarangire National Park, known for its elephant herds and baobab forests. After a picnic lunch, drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands and settle into your lodge.
Day 6: Hadza & Datoga Cultural Experience – Lake Eyasi
Visit the Hadza tribe for a traditional hunting walk and archery demonstration. Then meet the Datoga blacksmiths and witness their ironwork craftsmanship. Enjoy a local lunch and return to Karatu for a restful evening.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Serengeti Transfer
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Spot rhinos, lions, and elephants in this lush caldera. After lunch, continue to Serengeti National Park and settle into your camp.
Day 8: North Serengeti – Migration & River Crossings
Explore the Mara River region in North Serengeti. From July to October, witness the dramatic river crossings of the Great Migration. Enjoy game drives, walking safaris, and optional hot air balloon rides.
Day 9: South & Central Serengeti – Birth & Survival
From December to March, explore the calving grounds of the Great Migration in South Serengeti. Visit Ndutu wetlands and engage with Maasai communities. Optional sunrise balloon rides offer sweeping views of the plains.
Day 10: Serengeti to Zanzibar – Coastal Transition
Enjoy a final game drive before flying to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your beachfront resort on the Michamvi Peninsula and unwind beside the Indian Ocean.
Day 11: Beach Bliss & Ocean Adventures
Spend the day snorkeling, sunbathing, or sailing on a sunset dhow cruise. Explore coral reefs or simply relax on the beach with a fresh coconut in hand
Day 12: Spice Trails & Farewell
Visit Zanzibar’s spice farms and sample exotic flavors. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Kilimanjaro, carrying memories of wild plains, tribal traditions, and coastal serenity.
